JOB OPPORTUNITIES

All of the jobs at Moving Forward are flexible and part-time. Each of our employees has the option of working or not working on a specific job when called. We do our best to distribute the work according to each client’s needs while providing equal opportunities for each of our employees. All our employees are bonded, and covered by workman’s compensation and hired auto insurance. Training and advancement possibilities are provided.


We prefer that you can work two consecutive days in a row so that you are unpacking what you pack. Work days are usually 5 to 7 hours long including drive time. We provide transportation from our Highland office, but if you live farther away you can meet us at the job site. This is a great job for stay-at-home parents who have access to child care on an as-needed basis. It is also great for students with a flexible learning schedule, as well as teachers and students looking for some extra summer hours. We tend to be busier in the summer months. Energetic retired persons also find this job very rewarding and not too time-consuming.

*Must be able to work well in a team environment and follow directions of owners, trainers, and superiors. 

MOVERS: We are particularly looking for people with a chauffeur's license who can drive a 26-foot moving van.

PACKERS: Must be able to tolerate standing, bending, reaching, walking and moving for 6 hours. Must be able to occasionally lift 25 to 45 pounds with proper body mechanics.
