Moving forward is a privately owned company located in the northwest Oakland County area of metropolitan Detroit. Our service area presently includes Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw, Macomb, Livingston, and Genesee counties.

LouAnne Audette
LouAnne Audette, OTR (retired) and c-SMM (Certified Senior Move Manager), has been a registered Occupational Therapist since 1975. After reading about the success of Moving Solutions and its founder, Margit Novak, LouAnne became determined that there was a need for move assistance for senior citizens in the metro Detroit area and that she was particularly suited to provide it.
Along with her husband Tim, LouAnne completed an internship with Margit Novak and Moving Solutions in 2000 and as the sole owner, founded Moving Forward. A year later, Margit and a handful of pioneers started The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), a professional association geared toward promoting the unique services of this growing industry. Moving Forward is one of the founding members. Tim and LouAnne have been presenters at the National Conference and LouAnne is on the Accreditation Commission.

Tim Audette, with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration & Business Law, has been managing the business of Moving Forward full time since 2004. Both Tim and LouAnne are experienced in looking out for the best interests of families and older adults when helping them with major life decisions, especially in times of transition brought on by changes in physical or mental functioning, or loss of a spouse.
As parents, grandparents and active members of the community, they have always been involved in various social advocacy groups including those dealing with physical and educational accessibility, scouting, music promotion, food cooperatives, church and support group leadership, and donating to medical, home building, and environmental concerns.
Tim and LouAnne and all of the staff at Moving Forward are thrilled to be able to provide the invaluable services of senior move management to the people of Southeast Michigan. It is a joy to respond to the needs of the community and make the senior move experience a positive one for seniors and their families.
